Adding the Spotlight.ai Connector to Claude
All users who want to use Claude with Spotlight.ai must complete the following steps.
Overview
The Spotlight.ai MCP connector allows your team to use Claude to inspect deals, review MEDDIC qualification status, and surface meeting insights — all powered by live data from Spotlight.ai.
Before completing this step, make sure your organization is already connected to the Spotlight.ai MCP Server: Setting up Spotlight.ai MCP Server in Claude.
Adding the Connector
Spotlight.ai validates individual user access before granting tool permissions, so each user must authenticate separately.
- Go to https://claude.ai/customize/connectors (or Customize -> Connectors in your Claude desktop app)
- Find the Spotlight.ai connector.
- Note that the name of the connector was set by your Claude Admin when it was installed, so if you can't find it, you can reach out to them for guidance.
- Click Connect.
- You'll be redirected to the Spotlight.ai login page — sign in with your username/password or via SSO
- After logging in, you'll be returned to Claude with the connector active.
- Now you can test and see if the MCP connector is working.
Example things you can ask
- "Inspect the Acme deal and tell me what's missing."
- "Why hasn't Acme signed the deal yet?"
- "Summarize the last 3 meetings on the Acme opportunity."
- "What are the gaps in the Acme opportunity?"
- "Help me prepare for my next meeting with Acme to drive signature before the end of the week."
