Version 4.1: Opportunity Emails Tab · November 2026

Overview

You can now see the emails Spotlight.ai has linked to an opportunity, right next to its meetings. The opportunity's Opportunity Meetings section has been renamed Opportunity Interactions and now has two tabs: Opportunity Meetings and Opportunity Emails.

This works the same way whether your opportunities live in Salesforce or in Spotlight.ai.

What you'll see in the Opportunity Emails tab

The tab lists each email thread linked to the opportunity, with these columns:

• Subject: the subject of the thread.

• Participants: the people on the thread by first name, followed by the message count, for example, John, Sarah (5). The most recent sender appears first. Select it to expand the full list, the same way you can for meeting participants.

• Date & Time: when the email was sent, not when it reached Spotlight.ai. For a thread, this is the date and time of the latest email.

• Source: how the email got into Spotlight.ai:

  • Forwarded: manually forwarded to Spotlight.ai.

  • Inbox: captured automatically from your inbox.

Good to know

• The list shows thread details only. The body of each email is not displayed at this time.

• If no emails are linked to the opportunity, the tab shows: "There are no emails associated with this opportunity."

• Emails appear here once Spotlight.ai has analyzed them and linked them to the opportunity. To learn which emails are included, see Which Emails Does Spotlight.ai Analyze?
