Email Intelligence turns customer emails into structured opportunity insights - automatically.

With Email Intelligence, Spotlight.ai can now understand relevant customer emails and use them to keep your opportunities accurate, complete, and up to date - without manual data entry.

How it works

Once the Spotlight.ai Email Intelligence plugin is installed for Gmail or Outlook:

• Spotlight.ai securely reads email headers only (sender, recipients, metadata).
• When an email is identified as coming from your customer domain, Spotlight.ai:
  • Finds the most relevant opportunity
  • Extract key signals from the email
  • Updates discovery insights and stage-related questions based on the content

Smart filtering

Email Intelligence is built to focus only on what matters:

• Ignores meeting invites and calendar events
• Ignores internal emails
• Processes only emails from domains associated with opportunities
• Ensures irrelevant or automated messages never enter your workflow

Manual attachment

You’re always in control.

Users can manually attach any email they believe is relevant to an opportunity by forwarding emails from their personal mailbox to spotlight-analyze@spotlight.ai

Privacy & data handling

• Spotlight.ai does not store emails
• Only validated evidence is saved when an email supports a specific field or insight
• Email content is used solely to enrich opportunity intelligence
