Receiving Email Summaries

Spotlight.ai automatically sends a meeting summary email after each meeting the Notetaker joins. The emailed summary is sent either after the scheduled meeting end or the actual meeting conclusion, whichever happens later. Two scenarios determine recipients.

Scenario 1: Meeting not associated with a Salesforce opportunity

If the meeting is not attached to a Salesforce opportunity, Spotlight.ai sends the meeting summary to every internal invitee on the calendar invite who has the AI-Assisted Profile assigned. They will get a summary, whether they joined the meeting or not.

Scenario 2: Meeting associated with a Salesforce opportunity

If the meeting is attached to a Salesforce opportunity, Spotlight.ai ignores calendar invitees and participants and instead sends the email to Opportunity Team members who have the AI-Assisted Profile and to the opportunity owner (whether or not they have the AI-Assisted Profile).

❗This refers to the Spotlight.ai Opportunity Team, not the Salesforce Opportunity Team. In Spotlight.ai, any user who has viewed the Opportunity in Salesforce is considered part of the Opportunity Team


If you didn't get an email summary but expected one...

  • Check whether the meeting was associated with an opportunity, and if it was, whether you are a member of the Opportunity Team
  • Ask your Spotlight.ai administrator or support@spotlight.ai whether you have the AI-Assisted Profile
  • Check your Spam folder (search for an email from @spotlight.ai)
